The Devil #15- Ruled by Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn- Earth Element 

Saturn is the Ringed planet and calls in the energy of boundaries and limitations.  Capricorn is a sign of determination and material power and success.  It is an ambitious energy full of potential.  Saturn helps the Capricorn to learn their limitations, helping them to delegate as well as to understand that boundaries need to be put in place and understood.  Saturn herbs help to ground, bring clarity and help one to move into the dark.

Herbs of Saturn

Saturn forces the slow down and calm down of chaos and calls in endurance.  Although Saturn restricts and binds, it also assists with self-control, self –responsibility and wisdom learned through overcoming challenges. Saturn also calls in the energy of Karma and the knowledge of the lessons acquired during life.  Saturn herbs can be found in the foundations of life and are the herbs of grounding such as roots that bind to the earth, plants that grow in dark and dank places such as Cypress and Herbs that cleanse and clear.   Saturn herbs help to ground, bring clarity and help one to move into the dark, as well as with protection and banishment.

Carrier Oils

Since we are working with the Devil, I would use an Earthy carrier oil such as Sweet Almond oil, Pomegranate, Avocado.

Directions to create a Saturn Oil.

Choose 2 to 6 herbs to use in your potion, one essential oil and one stone.  Combine all ingredients into a jar and cover with the carrier oil of your choice.  Let sit for 2 to 3 weeks shaking and mixing often.  Strain and pour into a bottle of your choice.  You can dress candles with your blend or place on magical tools as well as place upon your skin.  Be sure to put your intention into the blend.  Always check precautions on essential oils.
